Jecht rubbed his chin thoughtfully at the pink haired soldier that stood before him. She was stiff, immovable. Had he not seen it for himself, he wouldn't think her capable of moving around in battle that way that she did. It was as if she were liquid silver flowing around, only taking time to harden again when she struck her blows. Then again, maybe she wasn't. Jecht wasn't one that was particularly good with his words.
He sauntered up to Light, fearing that she wouldn't be able to extricate the proverbial stick from her ass without his help. He respected her, but that didn't mean he liked her all that much. She really needed to lighten up.
Cassie felt like a rock the exact size and shape of a fist had been forced down her throat. It claimed its path at an agonizing pace, and the pain made her start to sweat. She didn't need that right now. God only knew what her mother would say if she didn't look her absolute best for this show.
She swept her bangs out of her eyes in an attempt to look halfway presentable, but she couldn't stop imagining herself walking on stage with flop sweat staining her clothes long enough to make it look decent. She decided to just say, "Forget it."
She wiggled in place, annoyed with the way her glitter ridden dress sparkled and shined. She never liked

Nature knows no mercy, yet may be the most beautiful thing ever known. Trails and hikes reveal the hidden complexity of the mountains. They father landscapes, towering above all as the wear the misty violet drape of royalty. The mother bear, anything necessary to protect her young. Anything necessary. Keep walking to the summit; be welcomed by the crisp air and an extravagant view.
The ocean. It is wondrous and vast in its massiveness. This is a true bizarre and phenomenal sight. The whale's song is resounding and gratified. A beautiful sound, many times used to calm the senses. Below the whale's reign, deep, deep down to where no light kn

The dankness of the basement lasted seconds, though the mind reduced it to an instantaneous event. Metal began to change in color and rubber melted, dripping into the concrete floor. My skin curled and boiled in a literal sense; the heat of the sun now a form of destruction. What was once needed for survival is now the cause of death. until I would see your shadow
Well I'm a falling star, burning up when finally shining
Because we've come too far...
I used to drink the water I'm now drowning in
I used to think my life was finally flowering
But the boat missed the shore, it's out of sight and out for more
I'm out of time, the sun has set, my only guide is a single star
But it's a falling star, burning up when finally shining
Because we've come too far, in

To take this dive into the open sky
Her bun collapses under an invisible weight
As locks of golden are free to dance again
A beating sun gazes upon her glistening cheeks
Now stained with hopeful tears

Whispering words of a calming nature
What seems to be a never ending dream
Of an open road of endless freedom
Is now within her reaching grasp
Memories of a place where light could not reach
